I've been wanting to do a deep space pic for a long time, I've just never had the patience to go through the loads of tutorials for doing one. Now that I have, I bring you this.
Specs
Tool: Photoshop CS2
Time: many hours (sorry, I don't keep track
)
Resources: Resurgere stock for the nebula and some tutorials.
So it's not glamorous or anything but it's my first nebula and my first space scene minus a landscape. I think I did all right, but there is SO much more to learn. Professional advice would be lovely. If you busy space artists out there can take a minute or two to give me some tips, that would be awesome.

Only critique I can think of is I wish it was bigger, not in size, just in content. I feel like I'm missing part of the picture when I look at it. The left edge is fine, its the top and/or right that I want to see more of.
