Edit: Lessened the contrast and darkened it a bit. I also completely got rid of the contrast in the distant forest part, attempting to give it more depth.
*crawls out of a hole* Well, I've been stuck down there for a month, but I bring you the one thing that kept me alive, other than the bugs and dripping water from the walls.
Specs Vue 6 xStream (I upgraded) Photoshop CS2
Render time: 9 hours Postwork time: a lot Full size: 2650 x 1762
it has some nice effects although i still think it lacks depth; it would be nice too see it bigger but from what i can see... the blurred effect doesnt really look good and can remove show less detail and it might be best to have duller colours in the background to help add depth the render and composition look nice but i think that depth could be shown better through colours and detail anyway its nice all that probably made no sense at all...
I like the scene but, here's my advance critique to it. Get ready for it
My main problem with it is that, actually, it took me to go and take the scene and crank up the Gamma Correction to go wow at the scene. Maybe it's the brightness of my monitor but I had no idea there were any trees whatsoever until I did that.
I also just noticed the leopard on a closer look (zoom) and I actually had to search for the birds to actually notice them. I think the scene is very good, but the composition doesn't let it shine in all of its magnificence.
Really? I actually thought it was too bright so I darkened it a bit. I guess our monitor settings are different. Maybe I'll do some more tweaking...I wish there were universal monitor settings at the touch of a button.
